Cadillac tempered their fins for 1960, reducing their size significantly. 1960 also marked the last year for the troubled plagued air suspension and the use of the triple two-barrel carburetors. Deep-dish wheel covers and rear fender skirts were standard on Eldorado’s for 1960 as well as cruise control, Autronic eye headlight dimmers, electric antenna, power door locks, fog lamps, and three rows of tail lamps. The body featured an unique chrome trim that started at the vent window and followed the body contour to the rear bumper. There were 1,075 hardtop coupes built in 1960 at a list price of $7,401.
